OOPS! + LAKEWAY REDO

I do apologize as my previous post "Update On A Client's Kitchen" was accidentally posted again today while we were working on the blog!  I have a new assistant and we are currently working on exciting new updates to the blog, so I appreciate your understanding as we work through our growing pains!   Working together, we'll be able to consistently write more design posts and updates to our website and portfolio.
More news about this fab new assistant in our next blog post....

In the mean time, I'm excited to show you all the finished product as an update on a previous post you can read about HERE featuring a local Austin client who wanted to update her home from a "Southwest Santa Fe" look, to a more "Texas modern meets rustic" decor.

Again  very sorry if you received the last post for a 2nd time.  Bear  with us while we make changes to the blog  that will make it more user friendly  and easier to navigate.

Tomorrow I will show you the updates to this Lakeway  front exterior, front door, guest and master bathrooms. Stay tuned!

XOXO,

UPDATE ON A CLIENT'S KITCHEN

The dust hasn't cleared from this recent project, but I wanted to share some pictures before the client's start moving in this gorgeous home this week. Loads of house pictures to share, but today our focus is the beautiful kitchen.

The 48" Thermador range is a work of art with tons of features, and the pot filler is great for pastas & soups.

If you look closely or click on the picture to enlarge, you'll notice the lighted dial panel of the range:
The grey backsplash from MISSION TILE accents the white field tile, all in the Arabesque design. The dual dishwashers on the left, below, and also the appliance pop-up will have custom cabinet fronts to match the other cabinetry.

The custom cabinetry was designed and collaborated with Rob Estrada of The Greystone Farm. The cabinets are finished in ML Campbell's Pure White with Carriage Stone glaze in a dull rub clear coat, and the custom island is painted in Carriage Stone paint with a light rub and a dull finish top coat .

The refrigerator/freezer is concealed in the custom cabinetry.

The kitchen faucet from WATERSTONE is a work of art:

I love the detail on the knob with the porcelain logo:
There's also a small vegetable sink with a smaller Waterstone faucet , not pictured.

One of my favorite kitchen sink lines is the SHAW with their famous stamped logo. And notice the beautiful veining of the Statuary marble counters:

The wood island top is made of knotty rustic alder wood with a medium distressing:
The client's are moving into their home this week and at a later date we'll share photos of the home finished with furnishings.

Hope you enjoyed the reveal and please check back for more house photos soon.

Design Inspiration - Villa Verai

Most hotels are run of the mill but sometimes you find one that knocks your socks off.  Villa Verai located in Phuket is one such place, I'm still drooling.

 Wow, no words needed

I would love to wake up to this view, the use of the glass railing is fantastic

 Monochromatic done well

I would get on that treadmill

 Loving the mix of materials

Okay I need a vacation

This ceiling is killer

Marble done right
