Bringing the GREAT OUTDOORS In

Written By Unknown on Sunday, December 4, 2011 | 1:12 PM

Yesterday we went on our annual Christmas tree hunt. We always go to the hip south Austin nursery called THE GREAT OUTDOORS.
Our friend Tom Tingley is the owner of this little slice of heaven. All year long the plants , flowers, and garden accessories there are a treasure trove. But during the holidays they get the best assortment of really fresh and beautiful Christmas trees.
I love the eye candy they display in each of their garden vignettes, and thought I'd share some fun, colorful images.

HOOTERS....

HOTTIE SNOWMAN.......

TOPIARY TEASE.....

FROG YOGA......

HOT POTS......
GNOME NEEDS A HOME.....

ARMY ANTS......FIESTA FOREVER......

We found our Christmas tree there , and a few other goodies. One of them is this beautiful succulent wreath. I decorated the wreath by wrapping a clear vase with burlap fabric, and turned it into a candleholder. I placed it on a wicker charger and it instantly becomes a great table statement......

And speaking of bringing the great outdoors in.....

I recently found more deals at Lowe's, like the fresh wreaths decorated in burlap & silk ribbons:
Along with a beautiful table arrangement:

Hope you're staying warm and enjoying the beauty of this season.

Cheers,
